Flowers, wrapped carefully around cars that had clearly lived a life rusting metal, chipped paint, edges softened by time. It felt deliberate. As if the flowers weren’t decoration, but acknowledgement. A quiet marking of a moment.
The contrast is what stayed with me. Soft petals pressed against something built for impact and movement. Beauty laid gently over wear and tear, not to disguise it, but to sit with it. To honour what had already been used, driven, weathered.
This photograph is about balance. About how celebration doesn’t belong only to the new or the perfect. Sometimes it finds what’s already been through something and in doing so, makes it feel even more meaningful.
